Over the last two weeks, representatives of the Coalition for the National Infrastructure Bank (NIB) have been featured in two podcast interviews. The first on August 6, 2022, hosted by Arizona Representative Pamela Powers Hannley, was a 51-minute exchange with Public Banking Institute Chair Ellen Brown, Cornell Law Professor Robert Hockett, and Senior Macroeconomist Alphecca Muttardy. The dialogue was broad-ranged, entitled, "National Infrastructure Bank Would ReBuild US, Create Jobs & Restore Global Competitiveness." Please listen here. 

The second on August 18, 2022, was hosted by Ron Placone, a Los Angeles-based talk show host. Placone interviewed Alphecca Muttardy, NIB Senior Economist. The podcast, "Get Your News On With Ron," featured an insightful and fast-moving eighteen-minute interview. Muttardy elaborated on the workings of the NIB and the urgent benefits it would provide for the country, including large-scale water projects, high-speed rail, affordable housing, and much more. Placone seemed impressed and encouraged by the grassroots movement that brought about the legislation for the NIB, HR3339, and the Coalition's ability to mobilize growing national support.
