On December 19, 2024, the New York City Council Finance Committee sponsored a hearing on Resolution 11 in support of H.R.4052, the National Infrastructure Bank Act. Resolution 11 passed the committee, and then, passed the entire city council later that day. H.R.4052 ended the 118th U.S. Congress with 48 sponsors. Watch hearing here . Speakers at the hearing included Dr. Nomi Prins, author, and former Managing Director Goldman Sachs; Assemblywoman Jo Anne Simon, 52nd Legislative District NY; Alphecca Muttardy, former Senior Economist International Monetary Fund; Stanley Forczek, Infrastructure Consultant, 30-year Executive Amtrak Corporation; and Gene Binder, Executive Board New York Progressive Action Network (NYPAN), Bronx, NY.
