Video, The National Infrastructure Bank: Financing the Opportunity Economy

Oct 03, 2024

On September 26, 2024, the Coalition for a National Infrastructure Bank (NIB) hosted a Zoom Town Hall, one month after our successful intervention at the Democratic National Convention. The Town Hall proved to be the perfect venue to further promote the urgent need for the NIB. Several elected officials who addressed the Town Hall were present at the DNC and participated in panel discussions sponsored by the Coalition. The September 26 Zoom forum further provides the way forward for our country, by detailing how an “opportunity” economy, as labeled by Vice President Harris, would be financed. Please watch this crucial video.

As the presidential election proceeds, the NIB Coalition is on the ground to maximizing our initiative and continuing to intervene on economic policy. We are spreading the word in every way we can. We are intervening with the media, and interviewing on Podcasts. We are redesigning our website, with new videos that were prepared for the DNC, in addition to updating our photo gallery, so you can see the Coalition hard at work. We are pulling out all the stops to educate the American people on the positive way forward for our nation. It is imperative that people learn why this important part of American history must be restored.

We are on a forced march from now until the election. We call on everyone to participate. This is an opportunity not to be missed. We are going for more cosponsors on HR4052. We ask you to circulate the NIB flyer at campaign events in your area.

There is no magic bullet. We are having an impact, but we must do more.

Please make a financial contribution today to help bring this campaign to life.
