Public Banking Institute Supports National Infrastructure Bank, HR 6422

March 1, 2021

Listing HR 6422 (the National Banking Act of 2020) as supported federal legislation, the Public Banking Institute has publicly supported the drive for a National Infrastructure Bank.

Ellen Brown founded the Public Banking Institute in 2011, following her study of the Bank of North Dakota. She spoke to a recent webinar hosted by the Coalition for a National Infrastructure Bank, held on Presidents' Day, February 15, 2021.

The original article endorsing HR 6422 appeared in December 2020, on the blog Sheerpost.com. That was reprinted on Ellen Brown's blog, the Web of Debt.

From the post: "A self-funding national infrastructure bank modeled on the “American System” of Alexander Hamilton, Abraham Lincoln, and Franklin D. Roosevelt would help solve not one but two of the country’s biggest problems."
