Ellen Brown is an attorney, co-founder of the Public Banking Institute, and author of 13 books and over 400 articles. 

Her latest books are Web of Debt, The Public Bank Solution, and Banking on the People. She co-founded the Public Banking Institute in 2011 and served as its Chair or Co-Chair for 14 years. She is a Fellow of the Democracy Collaborative, and on the Advisory Committee of the National Infrastructure Bank Coalition. She has done over 1100 interviews and presentations, including several power points for the NIB Coalition. In 2014 she ran for California State Treasurer on the Green Party ticket. She has degrees from UC Berkeley and UCLA School of Law.
