National Infrastructure Bank (NIB) experts Alphecca Muttardy and Stanley Forczek present a twenty-minute instructive video on how the NIB will benefit all communities. 

Infrastructure specialist, and former Amtrak executive, Stan Forczek begins by discussing how the NIB will ensure the success of communities in building infrastructure projects. He addresses two critical areas of concern 1) community coordination, especially in filing applications and fulfilling engineering requirements 2) taking measures to protect critical infrastructure, especially water, power and rail. 

Alphecca Muttardy, former Senior Economist, International Monetary Fund, details the funding for urgently needed infrastructure, while building communities along the way. Ms. Muttardy makes clear that only the NIB can cover all the Nation’s infrastructure, topping off budgets, municipal bonds and Public-Private Partnerships. She makes reference to several areas of impact: climate change, cyber and physical security, age and capacity, and worker training. She especially draws attention to the declining water levels in the Colorado River system. 

As indicated by Ms. Muttardy, only Congressional Bill HR3339 addresses these infrastructure issues, with no new taxes or increasing the deficit. A new bill for the $5 trillion National Infrastructure Bank has already been drafted and will be re-introduced into the U.S. Congress soon.
